Day-to-day Care
Sterling Silver Jewelry
To preserve the polish of your sterling silver jewelry, avoid exposure to household cleaning products, bleach and other strong chemicals. We recommend that you store your silver jewelry in its Tiffany Blue pouch. To clean, apply a small amount of our Silver Polish Spray to a soft cloth, then gently rub the silver with the cloth several times. Rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and blot dry and shine your silver with our polishing cloth or mitts to remove tarnish and restore shine.
Care Instructions
Our silver pieces are carefully crafted to achieve a unique, aged aesthetic. To preserve their character and finish, please follow these care guidelines:
- · Avoid friction and impact. The oxidized surface can wear away with frequent rubbing against other metals, hard objects, or rough fabrics. Store your jewelry individually in a soft pouch or cloth when not in use.
- Keep away from moisture, perfumes, and cosmetics. Sweat, fragrances, and skincare products may react with the surface, causing unwanted discoloration. We recommend putting on your jewelry after applying any body products and removing it before bathing, exercising, or swimming.
- Do not use standard silver cleaners. Silver polishing cloths and cleaning solutions are designed to remove tarnish, but they will also strip away the intentional oxidation. If needed, gently wipe your piece with a dry, soft cloth.
- Store in a dry, sealed environment. Exposure to air and humidity can accelerate changes to the surface. We suggest keeping your jewelry in a sealed bag with a desiccant packet to protect it from moisture.
- Embrace natural changes. Over time, the surface may continue to evolve with wear, developing a deeper, more personal character. This organic transformation is part of the beauty of burnished and oxidized silver.
By following these simple steps, you can help maintain the distinct appearance of your jewelry for years to come. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We are always happy to assist you.
